Here it is!! We passed! The building inspector came, he saw, he went and we won't need to see him again until the insulation inspection. We had him fooled with our hand framed roof on the porch, in that he thought they were trusses. Had we not pointed them out to him, he wouldn't have known. But news to us was that we can't build a truss without having it engineered, so it's either a letter from the engineer saying they are sufficient, or collar ties.
